Blues on Broadbeach

The annual Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival has attracted over 450,000 people since it's inception in 2002 making this a world class event and nurtures Australian Blues talent as well as provides a stage for international acts. The festival provides a musical experience like no other in Queensland, remaining a FREE event. Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is an annual four-day event staged at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. The Show displays a wide selection of marine products and services including superyachts, luxury power cruisers, power and sail multihulls, trailerable craft, kayaks, jetskis and watercraft plus engines, electronics, navigational gear and marine services. In 2013, the event will mark the milestone 25th anniversary.

Immerse SUP Ocean Paddle Festival
8 - 10 June 2013
The Immerse Paddle Festival provides the exclusive qualification pathway for Queensland athletes aiming to compete at the Australian SUP Titles and subsequently, the 2014 International Surfing Association (ISA) Paddleboard and SUP World Championships. Staged on the picturesque beaches and waterways of the Gold Coast, the festival includes a 17 kilometre and eight kilometre Open Ocean Paddleboard Race of various disciplines including prone paddleboards, stand up paddleboards, ocean skis and outrigger canoes.

Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Get involved in the 2013 Gold Coast Airport Marathon. The 42km marathon course runs along The Surfers Paradise Esplanade with more than 5,000 runners set to take on the challenge this year. There is a race or 'fun run' for all ages and abilities, including the full Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Run, 5.7km Challenge and 4km junior dash. Get in shape and take part in this iconic running event!

Swell Sculpture Festival

The free exhibition is open all hours with a selection of sculptures revealing a new verve as they are lit up under the southern sky. Over 10 days, visitors can experience the sculptures, enjoy twilight walks, informative artist talks, wander through the Swell Smalls Gallery and participate in children's workshops. Gold Coast Festival of Cycling

The Gold Coast Festival of Cycling was the brainchild created by Robbie McEwen, who was inspired by the quality of recreational events around Europe he experienced first hand, and decided it would be great to bring such an event to the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast Festival of Cycling is a community based two day event held at Emerald Lakes and the Gold Coast Hinterland hosting free live entertainment, trade shows, food and gourmet markets, corporate hospitality suites, kids mini fondo rides making it a very family orientated weekend full of fun and festivities.
Australian University Games

Held each September/October, the Games is renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for Australian university athletes and is the flagship event on the national university sporting calendar. The Games are recognized as a perfect opportunity to provide university athletes, many of whom are of Olympic standard, to compete against each other in a national multi-sport event, and attracts over 6,000 participants each year. The Gold Coast is host to the Australian University Games every second year. The event will showcase some of Australia's best sporting venues and provide students with an unforgettable social program to compliment sporting schedules.

The Tour de Valley is a cycling event following the course proposed for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. It features a Team Cycling Challenge that offers riders of all abilities the opportunity to race in a fun, safe, competitive event with a team of friends, colleagues or fellow club members. Riders will experience the beauty of the Currumbin Valley, following Currumbin Creek on a flat to undulating return journey through the lush, scenic countryside.

Racing offshore of the Gold Coast shoreline for eight days of competitive sailing.
